Here is a list of sites I find particularly cool or interesting.

Inaturalist - inaturalist.org Ever wondered what forms of life are in your county, state, or nation? Wonder no more.
Zootierliste.de/en Tired of the zoo not having the animal you wanted to see there? This website has a catalogue of species kept in zoos across the world. If you change to the 'former holdings' tab for London Zoo, you might even be able to cook an egg on your computer.
Flickr.com You probably know what Flickr is. But it's one of the best-kept time capsules on the internet, with many pictures from the 2000s. A good peek at life before the smartphone.
reddit.com/r/elementcollection Feel an inner Theodore Gray inside of you? This is the most robust community of element collectors on the internet.
periodictable.com Speaking of Theodore Gray, here's his periodic table website! It hasn't been updated in years, but still many cool things to see here.
The Internet Archive - archive.org Quite possibly the most important site on the internet. They are the largest publicly accessible library on the internet, making sure that books from every time period and part of the world can be read for free, as well as hosting perhaps the largest digital library on the internet. I think that's pretty cool.
